Serial Port Logger can connect to a COM port already opened by some app and start monitoring this port right away. All data it monitors is logged properly in real time. All data can be redirected to a specific file or just copied to clipboard. Serial Logger also records all serial input/output control codes (IOCTLs), with their full details and parameters. To see the USB serial port dump, read the port with your favorite serial communication client. On Mac/Linux you can use cat or screen and PuTTY on Windows.
